Privacy Policy

Short version: SPQR does not collect your name, email, or any personal information. We collect anonymous crash reports and usage analytics via Firebase, and a one-time anonymous install ping, to help us fix bugs and improve the game.

1. Who We Are

SPQR ("the App") is developed and operated by Paolo Furlan ("we", "us", "our"). If you have questions about this policy, contact us at goreste90@gmail.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to keep the App stable and working well. All data collected is anonymous and is not used to identify you personally.

Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

Stack traces and crash logs when the App unexpectedly closes
Device model, iOS version, and App version at the time of crash
No personally identifiable information is included in crash reports

Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

App sessions: when the App is opened and closed
Screen views and feature engagement (e.g. difficulty chosen, campaigns started)
Device type, OS version, and app version
Country/region (derived from IP address by Firebase, not stored as raw IP)

First-Launch Install Ping

A randomly generated, anonymous install identifier (not your Apple ID, device ID, or advertising ID)
App version and general locale/region/language, sent once on first launch so we know the App was installed

3. Data We Do Not Collect

Name, email address, or any contact information
Account credentials (there are no accounts)
Location data (GPS)
Contacts, photos, or any device files
Payment or card details — any in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment information

4. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Your campaign progress, difficulty setting, and unlocks are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults and the app's Documents folder). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

5. Third-Party Services

Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics. Operated by Google LLC. See Firebase Privacy.
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting. Operated by Google LLC. See Firebase Privacy.

These services may transfer and process data in the United States and other countries. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

6. Data Retention

Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Crashlytics data is retained for 90 days. You can request deletion by contacting us at goreste90@gmail.com and we will submit deletion requests to Firebase on your behalf.

7. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The anonymous analytics we collect do not include any personal information that could identify a child.

8. Your Rights (EEA / UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect only anonymous data, we cannot link analytics data to a specific individual. For any privacy-related request, contact goreste90@gmail.com.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

We do not sell personal information. The anonymous analytics data we collect does not constitute "personal information" under the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents may contact us at goreste90@gmail.com with any questions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
